Bidrectional Optical Node

Description
TW2-16 is a kind of high-performance optical node which can expand according to the development of HFC network. With modular design, it can combine, upgrade and improve according to different requirement of the system. It also support various unidirectional and bidirectional network application, such as broadcast television, interactive video, phone and data transmission.
TW2-16 can be plugged totally five modules: two forward optical receiver modules, two return transmitter modules, one power supply module and one network management module. It has four independent output ports with amplifier boards. Digital play and numerical control, it can be managed by Ethernet SNMP.

Features
1. Waterproof aluminum housing with Oxidation treatment to protect it from harsh weather and good for heat dissipation
2. Various operation modes. Forward path: quartered or two backup input/ four outputs. Return path: 4-in-1 or backup
3. 1G platform
4. Modular design, can be equipped with one network management module, two forward optical receivers, two return transmitters and one power supply module
5. Amplifier boards in bottom cover, four independent high-level output ports
6. Digital play and numerical control, optical power in forward path/return path can be monitored and set
7. For forward optical receiver module, PIN and photovoltaic module are available. AGC circuit can keep level of RF output signal constantly
8. For return transmitter module, it support APC and tri-status gate
9. Four independent outputs with high level as 108dBuV, 6dB reserved equalizer, max can reach 112dBuV
10. Power supply choice and indication for input/output port of feeder board, anti-thunder for input/output port
11. Single power supply, over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection when soft start
12. Separate power port, 10A bypass current

Under defined link loss, configure 59 PAL-D analog channels in 550MHz, transmit digital modulated signal in 550~870MHz. When the slope in 87~870MHz/1000MHz is 8dB, test C/CTB, C/CSO and C/N.
